Hooray! The most magical place on earth is celebrating its 25^th birthday! And what better way to celebrate this milestone than with an equally magical get-away weekend? That’s why Walkie Talkie invited a select group of bloggers and a talented photographer for a two-day trip. This april, Lise Desmet, Anne-Catherine Gerets, Dries Vriesacker, Jonathan Zegbe, Jan Van Eldere, Noemie Wolfs and Irmy Coeckelbergs embarked on a one-of-a-kind adventure to Disneyland Paris.

They stayed at the New Port Bay Club, a fairytale hotel in every sense of the word –with a sauna, fitness facility and indoor pool. And let’s not forget about Mickey Mouse casually hanging around the delicious breakfast buffet in the mornings. The hotel is located right next to the park: you can take a short walk through the cozy Disney Village to get there, or just hop on the shuttle bus.

Once you enter the park, you’re transported into another, even more dreamy universe. Experience the ultimate rush on the Hyperspace Mountain, get our adrenaline pumping on the impressive Tower of Terror or meet some of your childhood heroes during Disney Stars on Parade. And there’s more! The Big Thunder Mountain is the best spot for a spectacular view of the park and what better place to marvel at everything Pixar than at the Walt Disney Studios (who knows, you might meet Ratatouille or Nemo). Last stop? Dinner at iconic restaurant Walt’s. The perfect ending to a great weekend!

Following the success in Disney World, Star Wars is now finally coming for Paris! From January 14 to March 26, a big part of the park will be transformed into your favourite intergalactic world under the name “Season of the Force”. Without any shame you will be able to open an automatic door using a Jedi-esque hand wave or pin up your hair like princess Leia. But there is more!

Disneyland Paris promises breathtaking shows exploding with special effects and live Star Wars characters who propel you into the never ending battle between light and dark. The saga’s most meteoric moments will be reenact in  2 shows: A Galactic Celebration and A Galaxy Far, Far away. But don’t think for a moment the new Disney galaxy will fall into anarchy hands because stormtroopers will be patrolling!

With all these spectacular events, you might forget you came with children. Don’t worry, while you are busy making friends with a stormtrooper, they are welcome in the Jedi Training academy. Here are aspiring Padawans aged 7 to 12 trained and offered the opportunity to see how the Force works from a true Jedi Master.
